Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose and repair to specifications
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions
• Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat bay.
• Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have your own tools
• Must Speak English
• Well organized both in shop procedure and paperwork
• Good problem-solving skills
• 5+ years of mechanical experience required including but not limited to diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience
• Excellent customer satisfaction skills
• Professional clean appearance and work ethic
• Self- starter and self- motivator
• MUST have a valid driver's license
• ASE certifications preferred for this position
• Able to pass background and pre-employment drug screen
