Automotive Mid Level Technician

Our Company is looking for an experienced Mid-Level Automotive Technician for our Buffalo Location. Cleve Hill Auto Service has been family owned and operated for over 45 years providing 5 – star customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Ability to perform digital vehicle inspections, address customers’ concerns first and general recommendations second.

· Have a good understanding of diagnosing suspension noises, suspension failures, light engine performance issues, Emission issues, A/C & heating concerns, and a willingness to expand their knowledge base on their own.

· Must be able to hang any part necessary, brake parts, suspension parts, driveline parts, etc.

· Electrical diagnosis experience and general understanding of circuitry is a plus but not required.

· A cooperative attitude and eagerness to learn.

Physical Requirements: This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust.

· Must be able to lift, carry and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance

· Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time

· Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting

Professional Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in an auto shop/mechanic setting strongly preferred

· Proven knowledge of vehicle maintenance operations

· Ability to work a flexible schedule with great attendance.

*All candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR history.

Expected hours: 40 per week
