Automotive Mobile Connectivity Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate E2E Automotive Connectivity Systems
  • Development of telematics control units (TCU) and Network Access Devices (2G/3G/4G and 5G)
  • Ensure reliable connectivity between vehicles, backend servers, and cloud platforms.
  • Coordinate with mobile network operators for SIM provisioning and localization
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues at vehicle and system levels.
  • Perform network performance analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Support V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication development where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and validation teams.
  • Prepare technical documentation and validation reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive connectivity or telematics systems.
  • Strong knowledge of 4G/5G architecture, LTE, eSIM, APN configuration.
  • Experience with Telematics Control Units (TCU).
  • Understanding of CAN, Ethernet, and automotive communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with OTA update systems and backend/cloud integration.
  • Knowledge of V2X and connected vehicle technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and network analyzers.
  • Understanding of automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO 21434 preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
