Automotive Paint Technician / body man

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Paint Technician / Body Man to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, and structural alignment using hand tools and power tools
• Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and custom finishes using airless paint spraying equipment and buffing techniques
• Use detailing skills to clean, polish, and restore vehicles to showroom condition after repairs are completed
• Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to support overall vehicle restoration projects

Experience

• Proven experience or extensive background in auto body repair and painting
• Hands-on experience with welding techniques for auto body repairs
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, buffing machines, and other relevant equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during parts replacement or structural repairs

Pay: $27.01 - $35.00 per hour
