Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paint using airless paint spraying equipment, power tools, and hand tools with precision and consistency.
• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, filling, and welding to restore vehicle integrity.
• Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a smooth, high-gloss finish.
• Conduct auto glass replacement and detailing to enhance overall vehicle appearance.
• Assist with auto restoration projects by performing mechanical tasks and auto estimating as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all painting and repair processes, including heavy lifting and handling hazardous materials.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair and auto painting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Skilled in auto glass installation, buffing, detailing, and auto restoration techniques.
• Expertise in airless paint spraying methods and the use of various finishing tools.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and auto estimating processes.
• Ability to perform welding tasks safely and effectively.
