Automotive Parts Manager – Nissan of Tustin

Drive Success at the Heart of Our Operations Nissan of Tustin is seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. We aren’t just looking for an inventory specialist; we are looking for a strategic leader who can optimize operations, mentor a dedicated team, and partner effectively with our Service and Sales departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

The Role

As the Parts Manager, you will be the architect of our inventory and the engine behind our department’s profitability. You will oversee every facet of the operation—from high-volume wholesale accounts to retail excellence—ensuring that the right parts are in the right hands at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day workflow, ensuring the department operates at peak efficiency.
  • Inventory Mastery: Maintain precise inventory levels, proactively manage obsolescence, and oversee all ordering, receiving, and returns.
  • Team Development: Supervise, train, and mentor parts staff to foster a culture of professional growth and exceptional service.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Service Director and Sales Managers to streamline internal shop flow and maximize gross profit.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, track expenses, and implement strategies to meet and exceed monthly financial goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven Track Record: Previous experience in Automotive Parts Management is required.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of dealership inventory control, manufacturer programs, and wholesale processes.
  • Leadership Skills: A natural ability to lead by example, communicate clearly, and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with DMS systems and modern inventory management software.
