The Role: Evaluate vehicle damage, write precise estimates, and manage the claims process from inspection to completion. You will bridge the gap between insurance adjusters, repair technicians, and the customer.
Core Responsibilities
- Estimating: Inspect vehicles and generate comprehensive reports via CCC software.
- Negotiation: Settle repair scopes and costs with insurance adjusters.
- Coordination: Work with technicians to identify necessary parts and repair methods.
- Compliance: Maintain strict documentation for underwriting and insurance audits.
- Service: Provide clear, professional updates to customers regarding repair status.
Requirements
- Active PA Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser’s License (Required).
- Expertise in CCC Estimating software.
- Solid background in collision repair, estimating, or service writing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle systems.
- Proven negotiation and communication skills.
Pay: $32,800.00 - $65,900.00 per year
