Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with expertise in various areas including diesel engine repair, auto body repair, and powertrain systems. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct diesel engine repairs as needed, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to complete automotive service tasks efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and services provided.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive repair.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components and vehicle maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding techniques is preferred.
• Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license is required.
