Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, while also leading and supervising junior technicians to ensure the highest quality standards and efficient operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles (including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, etc.)
• Supervise and mentor junior mechanics and workshop technicians
• Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance across fleet and private vehicles
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve faults accurately
• Perform post-repair road testing to confirm proper functioning of vehicles
• Ensure all repair and maintenance activities comply with manufacturer standards and company policies
• Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and repair documentation
• Collaborate with service advisors and procurement for smooth job flow and parts coordination
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop environment
• Stay updated on latest automotive technologies and repair practices

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience as an automotive mechanic (GCC experience preferred)
• Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering
• In-depth knowledge of petrol and diesel engines; hybrid/electric vehicle knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners, oscilloscopes)
• Experience working with European, Japanese, or high-performance vehicles is an advantage
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• UAE driving license is preferred
