We are looking for a friendly and energetic person to join our team as a Service Advisor. The position will give you the opportunity to work with an amazing team that loves what they do, are eager to serve our community and strives to exceed our customers’ expectations every day.
As a Service Advisor you are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners to explaining the repair process, Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurants or hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and make them feel welcomed
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Collaborate with technicians to prepare accurate estimates for repairs and communicate them to customers.
- Schedule appointments and manage the service schedule
- Research repair part options and order parts after consulting technicians
- Return defective or extra parts to vendors as required.
- Manage received parts by creating job kits
-Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues that arise
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive repair shop
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills for entering and retrieving customer information
- Desire to learn and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when ready.
