Automotive Service Advisor

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues using data entry skills.
  • Explain service recommendations clearly, utilizing strong communication skills to ensure customer understanding.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinating with technicians to optimize workflow.
  • Upsell additional services or maintenance options in a friendly, non-pushy manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing prompt and helpful responses.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and sales using Microsoft Office tools and computer skills.
  • Assist with cash handling and processing payments accurately at the point of sale.
  • Follow up with clients post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members in a call center environment, utilizing outbound calling techniques to follow up on service opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
  • Proven experience in sales, customer support, or client services within an automotive or call center setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office applications, and general computer skills.
  • Experience with outbound calling or call center operations enhances your candidacy.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for building trust and rapport.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
