Automotive Service Manager (European Premium / Performance & Tuning)

About the role

Independent premium automotive workshop in Dubai is hiring an Automotive Service Manager to run operations with strict standards, clear processes, and full control of quality and profitability. This role requires a system-driven leader who enforces discipline, and measurable KPIs across the workshop.

Mandatory requirement

• 5+ years of experience with European premium vehicles (e.g., Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, etc.) — mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop operations: capacity planning, scheduling, job allocation, workflow control
• Ensure strict supervision of every stage: diagnostics → repair execution → QC → test drive → final release
• Build and enforce a structured system: SOPs, checklists, job cards, tool control, workshop cleanliness, discipline
• Control and improve KPIs: productivity, efficiency, cycle time, comeback rate, gross profit, parts-to-labor ratio
• Lead and develop the team (technicians/mechanics/foreman): performance management, accountability, standards
• Parts control: correct selection, approvals, usage tracking, reducing waste and losses
• Handle customer escalations professionally and protect the workshop’s reputation and margin
• Drive performance services: tuning, power upgrades, performance diagnostics, and quality control for modified vehicles
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and proper use of equipment/tools

Scope of work

• Maintenance, diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs
• Performance upgrades and tuning / power increase projects

Requirements

• 5+ years with European premium cars — mandatory
• Proven experience managing workshop operations and teams
• Strong understanding of diagnostics and repair workflows (including performance-oriented work)
• Strict management style: order, control, standards, discipline
• English required; Arabic is a plus
• UAE driving license is a plus
