Automotive Shop Manager

We are a small, tight-knit team driven by one goal: to deliver the best automotive detailing results in Kitsap County. We've built a reputation for quality over quantity, and now we're looking for a Shop Manager to be the engine of our daily operations and the leader of our team.

We're looking for a results-driven individual who is obsessed with customer experience, sociable, excels at sales, and knows how to run a flawless shop.

Responsibilities:

Lead Conversion & Sales (Your #1 Priority):

• Act as the primary point of contact for all new leads, relentlessly following up via call, text, and email to convert them into booked appointments.
• Master our customer communication scripts to greet clients, present services, and expertly upsell on every appointment.
• Manage all customer interactions, from the initial call to post-service follow-up, ensuring an exceptional experience that generates 5-star reviews.

Flawless Shop Operations:

• Manage all day-to-day activities, from opening and closing procedures to ensuring the shop is impeccably clean and organized.
• Oversee weekly inventory control, daily scheduling on the whiteboard, and end-of-day financial reporting (tips, hours, and payments).
• Ensure all vehicles are completed on time and to our stringent quality standards before the customer arrives.

Team Leadership & Quality Control:

• Train new detailers on our proven workflow, ensuring they understand our high standards for quality and efficiency.
• Conduct hourly check-ins with the team, providing constructive feedback and solving any on-the-spot issues to keep jobs on schedule.
• Uphold our reputation by performing final quality control checks on every vehicle that leaves our shop.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

• Proven experience in a management, sales, or leadership role. Experience in the automotive industry is a huge plus.
• A natural talent for sales and customer service with the drive to hit revenue targets.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop in Silverdale, WA.

A Note on the Role: This is a hands-on leadership position that requires you to be on your feet, interacting with customers, managing the team, and ensuring the shop runs perfectly. Your phone is your most important tool, and you must be available to answer calls throughout business hours.
