Automotive Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 1 Technician to join our service team. This role is designed for a technician who can work independently on general repairs, takes ownership of their work, and is committed to continued growth through paid GM training and ASE certification. You will be responsible for your own workflow and repairs while contributing to a clean, efficient, and team-oriented shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle repairs including brakes, leaks, air conditioning, and cooling system repairs
• Complete all Maintenance Technician-level work efficiently and accurately
• Progress through GM training and ASE certification programs (paid by the company)
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to ensure timely and accurate repair completion
• Maintain 85% or higher efficiency
• Keep your designated shop and lot areas properly parked, clean, organized, and safe
• Maintain accountability for dealership-owned manuals and equipment
• Follow all shop processes to support smooth workflow and customer satisfaction

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated ability to perform general automotive repairs independently
• Must have own tools
• Basic diagnostic skills across multiple vehicle systems
• Strong time-management, teamwork, and communication skills
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
