Experienced Automotive Technician Wanted – Independent, Family-Owned Shop

We are a well-established, family-owned automotive repair shop in Grand Haven, MI seeking a skilled technician who can confidently handle diagnostics, drivability issues, and major repairs — not just maintenance work.

If you’re the technician other techs ask for help… if you take pride in accurate diagnostics and fixing vehicles right the first time… we want you on our team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Diagnosing drivability and check engine light concerns
• Performing brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine repairs
• Timing components and major mechanical repairs
• Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Completing thorough digital or written vehicle inspections
• Communicating clearly with service advisors regarding findings and repair plans
• Maintaining productivity while delivering high-quality work

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic skills (scan tools, electrical testing, troubleshooting)
• Ability to independently handle most repairs from start to finish
• Solid understanding of modern vehicle systems
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools required
• State Certifications required
• Professional attitude and team-first mindset
