Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform repairs efficiently. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.

Pay Ranges Depending On Skills And ASE Certifications

Starting pay $20 With Pay Increase If Qualifying

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs and alignments on various vehicle systems.
Weld components as needed to ensure structural integrity and safety of vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery in a timely manner.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, preferably in a dealership setting.
Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not required.
