Automotive Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and check engine light diagnosis to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about the automotive field, has strong diagnostic ability, and can efficiently identify and repair complex vehicle issues. This role requires a hands-on technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics and delivering high-quality repairs to customers.

Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostics for check engine lights, electrical faults, and drivability concerns.
Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems including wiring, modules, sensors, and communication networks.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and general inspections.
Utilize scan tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment to accurately troubleshoot issues.
Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify safety concerns and needed repairs.
Perform repairs related to suspension, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate repair orders with clear diagnostic findings and recommendations.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and shop procedures.
Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Requirements
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
Strong experience in electrical diagnostics and check engine light diagnosis is required.
Proficient in using diagnostic scan tools, wiring diagrams, and electrical testing equipment.
Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform general repairs and maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and extended periods of standing.
Valid driver’s license required; ASE certifications or equivalent are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
