Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
• Execute vehicle alignments and wheel balancing to ensure proper handling and tire longevity.
• Inspect and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features such as lane departure warnings and collision avoidance systems.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures to ensure high-quality service on GM vehicles and other makes.
• Document all work performed clearly in service records and assist with auto estimating for parts and labor.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
• Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines.
• Experience working with schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and understanding of automotive electrical systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and perform repairs adhering to safety standards.
