Automotive Technician

Automotive Technician – High-Performance Service Team

We are seeking a skilled and driven Automotive Technician to join a fast-paced, high-performing service team dedicated to delivering exceptional vehicle care. In this role, you will play a critical part in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while ensuring top-tier safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics using schematics, electrical testing equipment, and state-of-the-art diagnostic tools
  • Diagnose and repair powertrain systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and other critical mechanical components
  • Complete routine and preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, brake work, suspension repairs, and wheel alignments
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems across various vehicle makes and models
  • Calibrate and service ADAS components, including sensors, cameras, and safety systems
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive tools with precision and efficiency
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately identify and resolve issues
  • Communicate clearly with customers and service advisors, explaining repairs and recommending preventative maintenance
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation using estimating and shop management software
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment while effectively managing multiple repair orders

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or professional service environment
  • Strong expertise in electrical diagnostics, powertrain systems, transmissions, and diesel repair
  • Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, alignment systems, and modern diagnostic equipment
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using a wide range of tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring schematics
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Experience with GM or similar vehicle brands is a plus
  • ASE certification or equivalent professional credentials preferred
  • Commitment to high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
