Honest Auto Repair – Council Bluffs, IA

Honest Auto Repair is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our independent shop. We’re a flat-rate operation with steady work, fair dispatching, and a focus on quality repairs and not sales pressure.

Pay

• $30–$40 per flat-rate hour
• Pay is based on experience, diagnostic ability, and certifications
• Consistent car count and year-round work

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles
• Perform maintenance and general repairs (brakes, suspension, drivability, engine concerns, etc.)
• Accurately document findings and repair recommendations
• Maintain efficiency while producing quality work
• Communicate clearly with service staff

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience required
• ASE certifications strongly preferred
• Ability to diagnose independently
• Own tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and professional

Shop Environment
