Empire Ford Lincoln is in search of EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN's. Must have a minimum of 3 years dealership or independent shop experience. Empire Ford service department has no weekends or late evenings and offers options of a 4 DAY WORK WEEK or employee can choose a traditional 5 day work week. Empire offers top pay in area ranging from $25 - $44 per hour for certified technicians, Pay is based on certifications and experience. Ford experience is a plus but not a requirement in fact Ford Motor company recognizes other manufacture certifications as well as ASE certifications, so do not be afraid to apply if you are a certified tech in another brand. Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to execute repairs efficiently.
• Execute wheel alignments and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure optimal vehicle safety features.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimating and communicate repair progress clearly to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all repair activities.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair environments.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engine repair.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
• Familiarity with Ford vehicles or similar brands is a plus.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance tools.
• Previous experience in auto estimating and customer service roles enhances your ability to deliver exceptional client interactions.

Pay: $25.00 - $44.00 per hour
