Automotive Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an Auto Technician to join our team in State College, PA. Qualified applicants must have the desire to work 40 hours per week and enjoy working on vehicles. A qualified candidate will possess a valid a State Inspection and State Emissions certification. Must have Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, and powertrains.
• Execute wheel alignments
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and ADAS calibration procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engines.
• Experience working with automotive estimating software and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
