Sparks Computerized Car Care is a family-owned, technician-friendly shop looking to add an Automotive Technician to strengthen our diagnostic capabilities and support continued growth. You’ll work Monday–Friday (8–5) with no weekends, in a laid-back but high-quality environment where your skillset is respected and rewarded.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality general repair and diagnostic work on domestic and Asian vehicles
• Diagnose and resolve check engine lights, drivability issues, and electrical/mechanical concerns
• Handle a wide range of work including:
• Brakes, suspension, and maintenance
• Timing and engine work
• A/C systems and inspections
• Engine & transmission R&R (reman units – no rebuilding required)
• Maintain clear documentation, organized workspace, and pride in workmanship
• Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and technician team

• Quickly become a go-to diagnostic resource in a 2-tech shop
• Improve turnaround time, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Consistently produce work near book time while maintaining high standards
• Help reduce comebacks and support long-term shop growth

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience (or schooling + experience)
• Strong diagnostic ability (A-level preferred)
• Experience with domestic & Asian vehicles
• Ability to handle full-scope mechanical work (no diesel or heavy fleet focus)
• Valid driver’s license and basic tools
• ASE certifications are a plus (reimbursement offered)

Pay & Benefits

• $40–$60/hour flat rate (based on experience & production)
