Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Diesel Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks with a focus on quality, efficiency, and accuracy. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including fuel, air, electrical, and aftertreatment systems
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections (oil changes, filters, brakes, suspension, etc.)
• Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and parts used on work orders
• Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues
• Complete repairs in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to service advisors/office staff
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and shop policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a diesel technician (light, medium, or heavy-duty)
• Strong diagnostic skills—able to troubleshoot without excessive parts swapping
• Familiarity with Power Stroke, Cummins, and Duramax platforms preferred
• Experience with diagnostic software and scan tools
• Own tools required
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (Not Required)

• ASE certifications
• Experience with performance, tuning, or custom diesel builds
• Welding or fabrication skills
