Role Responsibilities
As an Automotive Technician at Heaven Sent Automotive, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle performs at its best, is repaired right the first time, and meets customer expectations and safety standards. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, auto repair experience, and in-depth diagnostics of automotive systems, all of which are vital for delivering superior service that keeps our customers’ vehicles reliable and our customers satisfied.

Responsibilities
- Accurately complete maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer’s vehicles.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess mechanical condition and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance services.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various automotive systems using advanced automotive diagnostics tools.
- Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals to accurately identify issues and execute repairs efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools and scanners to complete repairs with precision.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and quality control procedures.
- Provide clear communication of diagnostic findings and repair needs to the service department team to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate and contribute effectively as a member of a team.
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, powertrains, engines, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Proven automotive service technician experience with a focus on vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics.
- Demonstrate ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostics software.
- Proven ability of strong communication and written documentation of findings on vehicles.
- Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes is a plus; familiarity with European diagnostics and repair is highly desirable.
- ASE Certifications are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and communication are essential!
- Must have valid driver's license and your own tools (we provide specialty tools and diagnostic equipment).

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
