Automotive Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair. This position requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, including diesel engines and electrical systems. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles. Pay dependent on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize power tools and equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
• Align vehicle wheels and perform suspension repairs as needed.
• Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring, modules, and electronic components.
• Provide accurate auto estimating for repair services based on thorough inspections.
• Collaborate with team members in an independent repair shop environment to deliver high-quality service to customers.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues effectively.Qualifications
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
• ASE certifications is a plus
• Familiarity with power tools and diagnostic equipment used in automotive repair.
• Understanding of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
• Proficiency in aligning vehicles and performing suspension repairs.
• Solid grasp of automotive electrical systems and their components.
• Ability to accurately estimate repair costs based on inspections and diagnostics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
