Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
• Repair or replace parts such as belts, hoses, brakes, suspension components, and other essential vehicle systems.
• Perform wheel alignments, ADAS calibrations (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and diesel engine repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed service records, prepare estimates for repairs, and communicate findings clearly with customers to ensure transparency.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, especially GM vehicles preferred.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics software.
• Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and alignment techniques.
• Ability to work with power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and automotive maintenance machinery safely.
• Knowledge of transmissions, diesel engines, powertrain components, and automotive service standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
