Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Service vehicle components including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), wheel alignment, and vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical problems.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimates, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, transmissions, and powertrain repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; diesel engine repair experience is highly valued.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
