Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines with precision and attention to detail.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently.
  • Service vehicle components including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), wheel alignment, and vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical problems.
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimates, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, transmissions, and powertrain repairs.
  • Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
  • Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; diesel engine repair experience is highly valued.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
