Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently
• Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines
• Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Use schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs with precision
• Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Document all repairs thoroughly in service records and communicate findings clearly with customers or service advisors

Skills

• Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive service standards
• Expertise in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting
• Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and alignment techniques for modern vehicles
• Mechanical knowledge across various systems including engines, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrains
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software
• Experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
