Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are operating efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Utilize schematics and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle problems effectively.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Execute automotive repairs on various systems including powertrain, electrical, and suspension components.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting. We're currently looking for only A-techs & B-techs.
• Strong knowledge of automotive service procedures and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
• Skills in welding and fabricating parts as needed for repairs is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Must have your own tools. Specialty tools will be provided by the shop. However, you must have your own sockets, pliers, impact wrenches, etc.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
