Automotive Technician

BAKER AUTO REPAIR is seeking an Automotive Technician. This position will include diagnosis of cars & trucks with multiple concerns. We are one of the most well-equipped shops (over 38 years) in the area and offer a clean work environment along with great people to work with.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks to include brakes, front end , cooling systems, transmission and engine replacement, and electrical systems.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
• Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

Automotive Technician Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma/GED required
• ASE certification (or willingness to obtain)
• 5-7 years of service technician experience
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools
• Knowledge of tools and equipment a must
• Own your own tools
