Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles and diesel engines, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills to deliver top-tier results.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of automotive issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
• Repair or replace vehicle components including transmissions, powertrain systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines
• Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle electrical system diagnostics
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other shop tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately identify issues and execute repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service
• Assist with auto estimating processes for repairs and ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations

Skills

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair
• Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and diesel engine repair
• Familiarity with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment procedures, schematics reading, and automotive diagnostics software
• Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices
• Strong understanding of GM vehicles is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
