Automotive Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with the ability to work on various vehicle systems including powertrain and electrical systems. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Conduct repairs on diesel engines, automotive electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Perform suspension work to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair, including diesel engine repair and powertrain systems.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.
• Perform welding tasks as required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent training is a plus but not required.
