Automotive Technician

Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including Domestic, European and Asian Imports, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills. As a key player in our service department, you'll ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently, providing top-tier automotive service that keeps customers coming back. Your hands-on approach and passion for automotive repair will be essential in delivering outstanding results every day.

Duties

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, fuel lines, suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, and tires
• Basic scan tool navigation and operation
• Inspecting vehicle systems and document on our digital inspection
• Maintaining an organized and safe work environment
• Working in the shop in a manner that respects the privacy of customers and the shop's cleanliness
• Completing all required inspections from customers
• Keeping the shop clean and orderly during your shift
• Helping to maintain a positive work environment with your team mates
• Assist advisors in providing exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Assist with repair estimating processes and document all repairs meticulously to maintain high-quality service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and wheel alignments.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery.
• Familiarity with European vehicles or similar makes is a plus; diesel engine repair experience is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
