Automotive Technician

Medford Auto Group is looking to add to our team of professionals at our Medford Wi dealership. Currently we are seeking individuals for our service department and have 1 Automotive Technician position available.

The Service Technician will be responsible for performing automotive diagnostic & repairs in accordance with Dealership and factory standards. This individual will utilize their skills to diagnose and repair any & all automotive problems. The Service Technician will work with other service personnel and management to ensure our customers are satisfied.

Your daily role will be to:

- Perform work as outlined on repair order efficiently and correctly.

- Accurately Diagnose cause of customer concern and report findings to service manager

- Perform all repairs following factory guidelines

- Road-test vehicles both before and after repair to ensure proper diagnosis and repair of customer complaint.

- Record time spent on repairs using company time clock punch procedures.

- Provide detailed “story” for each repair of complaint, cause and repairs preformed

- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, cleaning your repair area/areas every day.

- Return customer’s vehicle to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.

The right candidate will possess following:

- Full set of repair tools to preform all aspects of automotive repairs, special tools will be provided by dealership (scanners, factory speciality tools etc).

- Positive Attitude

- Strong time management skills

- ASE certification a plus but not necessary

- 2 years automotive technician experience

- Valid drivers license with driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier

- A desire to grow with our team

Compensation

- Pay will be based on experience/skill level & efficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
