Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including powertrain and electrical systems. A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction is essential.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Repair and replace automotive components such as transmissions, engines, and electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimates for repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repairs needed and completed.

Skills

• Experience preferred for familiarity with specific vehicle brands and models.
• Proficiency in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with diesel engine repair is advantageous.
• Ability to perform alignments and other specialized services as needed.
• Welding skills are beneficial for certain repair tasks.
• Previous service technician experience is highly valued.

• You must provide your own hand tools. Some diagnostic and specialty tools are provided.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8am-6pm with lunch break 11:30am-1pm
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must have reliable transportation

Pay: $8.00 - $60.00 per hour
