Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong understanding of various vehicle systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently. The Automotive Mechanic will work with a variety of vehicles, and will utilize their expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems.

Duties

• Must know how to perform head gasket and engine rebuilds.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Perform diagnostics on automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair with a focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and ability to read schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license is required; ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Growing shop servicing businesses and local customers. Looking to grow in the EV Sector, so EV knowledge a plus. Scan tool reading a must. Spanish speaking preferred. Must own basic tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work
