Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs using mechanical knowledge and automotive service techniques
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Assist with auto restoration projects and heavy lifting tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance
• Follow safety protocols during auto repair procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and maintenance recommendations
• Support auto body repair processes when necessary, ensuring high-quality finishes and repairs

Requirements

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines and auto service standards
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or restorations
• Automotive technician certification preferred; smog certification is a plus
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
