Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems, including powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and alignments to uphold dealership standards.
• Repair and replace mechanical components using hand tools and power tools with precision and safety.
• Diagnose complex electrical problems involving automotive electrical systems and sensors.
• Execute diesel engine repairs and welding tasks as needed for specialized vehicle maintenance.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines for service procedures on GM vehicles to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic software tools.
• Experience working with ADAS technologies such as lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle alignment procedures and powertrain components including transmissions and diesel engines.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools effectively.

Pay: $22.16 - $40.00 per hour
