Automotive Technician - lube, brake, tune up, suspension, diagnostic

Seeking Full Time Mechanic for hire.

• Full time position
• Pay is based on Experience $20+ depending on license/certificate/experience
• Schedule - 8 Hour Shift (Must work on Saturday and Monday)
• 1 weekday off and Sunday closed

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Auto Mechanic to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be adept at performing a range of automotive services, including oil changes, maintenance, and repairs. You will also provide exceptional customer service and act as a service advisor, ensuring our clients receive the best care for their vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake work, and general diagnostics.
• Assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repairs and services in a clear and friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume environment, prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs.
• Stay updated on automotive technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic, with a focus on quick-service environments.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and repair various issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ASE certification is a plus
