Experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are a busy and growing auto repair shop looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Carmel.

We are looking for someone who can confidently diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and drivability issues without constant supervision. The right candidate must be dependable, motivated, and take pride in quality work.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of engines and transmissions
• Ability to diagnose vehicles independently
• Experience using diagnostic scanners and tools
• Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus
• Own tools
• Reliable, hardworking, and responsible

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Use diagnostic scanners and tools efficiently
• Complete repairs in a timely manner
• Test drive vehicles when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in automotive repair
• Engine and transmission repair experience required
• Ability to diagnose problems independently
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostics is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools preferred
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
