Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Borgman Ford of Grandville is looking to add an experienced automotive technician to our busy service team. We're looking for someone that has a minimum 3 years automotive experience and pay up $45.00 per hour based on skills.

The right candidate will be able to do the following:

• Perform vehicle inspections.
• Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic and specialty equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and hybrid vehicle systems.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems.
• Stay current with provided manufacturer training.
• Prepared to get additional certification as needed.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
• Keep their shop area clean and organized.

Requirements:

• Must have relatively clean driving record and be able to pass a drug screen.
• Minimum 3 years automotive experience.
• Valid drivers license with good driving record.
• State automotive repair certifications required.
• Wages based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
