Automotive Technician/Mechanic

This is a full-time position responsible for completing dynamic/ static calibrations, AC evac/recharge, and electrical/ mechanical diagnostics and repairs by following OE specifications and repair standards. The technician will have all OEM scan tools and software required provided by our company to return the vehicle to pre-loss condition.

• OE Pre, Post, and Diagnostics Scans
• Calibration, Diagnosis, and Repair of All Vehicle Safety Systems
• Automotive Control Module Replacement, Programming, and Updating
• Advanced Security and Key Programming
• Dash Removal and Replacement
• Airbag and Seatbelt Replacement
• Electrical Diagnosis
• Vehicle Wiring Repairs and Replacement
• Alignments
• Mechanical & Suspension Repair/Replacement
• Tire Mount and Balance
• Rodent Damage Repairs
• Vandalism Repairs
• Glass Clean-Up
• Air Conditioning Evacuation and Recharge
• Pick up and deliver vehicles as needed
• Continuously learning new technical information/techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Manufacturer Diagnostic Scan Tools preferred.
• Automotive repairs and/or diagnostics experience required. 5+ years’ experience preferred. Strong preference for electrical/mechanical experience.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Personable, friendly demeanor with “How can we help” customer service approach.
• Must be able to stand for long periods during the repair of a vehicle.
• Must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and/or caustic chemicals.
• Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions. Must have the ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles.
• Extensive travel within the assigned area may be expected.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to comfortably navigate a computer.

*Initial hourly wage based on expereience level.
