Nature of Job Contractual Field based

Educational Qualification and Experience
ANM qualification from a recognized institution is mandatory
Minimum one year experience in field level health programmes
Experience in HIV AIDS STI TI or community health programmes will be preferred

Key Skills Required
Knowledge of government health programmes and policies
Good communication and counselling skills
Ability to work with vulnerable and high risk groups
Experience in data recording reporting and documentation
Willingness to work in the field for at least ten days per month
Ability to work in coordination with outreach staff

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counselling on HIV AIDS STI safe sex and injecting practices
Conduct behaviour change communication and psychosocial support sessions
Demonstrate correct condom use and counsel on condom negotiation
Motivate clients for testing treatment and regular follow up
Refer and link clients with ICTC STI clinics ART centres and social welfare services
Maintain confidentiality and proper records as per programme guidelines
Support outreach activities and guide ORWs

Salary and Allowances
Monthly Salary 12500
Travel Allowance TA 1200 per month
