Reports To: Electrical Supervisor / Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

The Foreman – Audio Visual is responsible for overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual and control systems. This role involves leading a team of AV Technicians to ensure optimal system performance, efficient daily operations, and timely execution of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily AV installation, maintenance, and operational activities
• Lead and manage a team of AV Technicians
• Assign tasks and monitor technician performance and productivity
• Oversee installation of audio-visual systems, including sound systems, projectors, and smart TVs
• Ensure proper setup, configuration, and calibration of AV systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to the team
• Coordinate AV support for meetings, events, and VIP functions
• Ensure proper cable management and rack installations
• Maintain accurate preventive and corrective maintenance records
• Coordinate with the electrical team for technical support
• Diagnose faults and restore systems within minimal downtime
• Ensure high-quality audio and video output during operations
• Conduct routine system inspections as per manufacturer guidelines and site requirements
• Ensure timely updates of firmware and software
• Supervise and coordinate with annual maintenance contractors
• Review contractor monthly reports and performance
• Maintain updated spare parts inventory at site
• Record and track all system faults and service calls
• Prepare and submit monthly technical and financial reports to the supervisor
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and organizational policies
• Coordinate with other maintenance departments as required

• Excellent command of English
• Proficient in computer applications
• In-depth knowledge of AV systems, automation, and maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Effective leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Flexibility to work extended hours when required

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Certification or on-the-job training from a recognized AV system manufacturer
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in AV system installation and maintenance
