AV Technician – Job Description (Promedia Qatar)

Promedia Qatar is a leading audio-visual and event technology company providing AV and ELV solutions for corporate, government, hospitality, and live event environments.

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on AV Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems across various sites.

What You’ll Do:

• Install and set up AV systems (screens, projectors, speakers, video walls)
• Support conferences, meetings, and live events
• Operate sound, video, and control systems during events
• Troubleshoot technical issues (audio, video, and connectivity problems)
• Perform routine maintenance and system checks
• Handle cabling, rack setup, and equipment testing
• Support video conferencing systems (Teams, Zoom Rooms, etc.)
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients on-site

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma in Electronics, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 1–3 years of AV or ELV experience preferred
• Knowledge of AV systems and equipment
• Basic understanding of networking is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on technical skills
• Ability to work under pressure during live events
• Willingness to work shifts and on-site deployments

Pay: From QAR3,500.00 per month
