You will be joining a dedicated beach team and will report directly to the Beach Club Management team.

You will be responsible to set-up, operate, and troubleshoot all AV/Protection/Lighting/ conferencing equipment, devices, and systems. Oversee the set-up of AV equipment in banquet and meeting rooms. Ensure all AV equipment is fully operational. Will carry out the repair and maintenance of all electronic systems and equipment such as TV systems, In-House movie system, In-House music system, Intercom system, two-way radio system, AV, projection etc. Diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Follow AV equipment preventive maintenance checklist to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.

You’ll also maintain engineering area, clean and in an orderly manner. Keep close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation. Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager.

You will comply with the departmental/corporate SOP & LSOP. Will ensure implementation of Dorchester Collection Policies, Standards and Procedures in relation to Engineering fairly and consistently. Will be aware of all existing departmental job safety analysis and strive to work in an accident-free manner and to create a safe working environment for self and for others.

Along with your main duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required.

You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the hotel needs.

You acknowledge that working in beach club operations involves exposure to heat and sun, operating under pressure, and requires standing and walking for long periods of time.
