AV/ELV Draftsman cum BIM Modeler

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop drawings based on the sketches from the Sales Engineering team to create and document audio/visual systems using AutoCAD programs
• Collaborate with the Systems Engineer to build and maintain an accurate drawing set, with a focus on the architectural set.
• Ensure that all relevant details are incorporated within the drawing set.
• Ensures that all drawing sets adhere with Presentation Products standards
• Ensure that all assigned projects deliverable and timelines are met and revisions are accurately and appropriately included and updated in final design.
• Maintain the set on assigned projects, including updating drawings to reflect on site changes, and any post completion redlines
• Collaborate with the Systems Engineering team to maintain AutoCAD block library and ensure accuracy in blocks
• Seeks continual training and development relating to relevant audio/visual systems and software applications
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Certification/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalency
• AutoCAD experience
• Experience performing each of the job responsibilities outlined above in an associated industry preferred
• Advanced PC literacy to include Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Sketch Up
• Ability to learn web based software and mobile applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED2,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
