Aviation / Airport Construction Project Manager

Overview

· Hiring 1 PM focused on aviation projects

• Timeline: Start in the next few weeks
• Location: Must be local to New Mexico (no relocation reimbursement)

Experience Requirements

· 7–10 years of airport/aviation construction experience

• Project exposure should include:

o Airport operations

• Runways
• Aviation fueling systems
• Baggage handling systems
• Airport infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of:

o FAA standards and regulations

• Airport-specific clearance requirements
• FAA processes (critical driver)

Responsibilities

· Manage:

o Scope

• Budget
• Schedule
• Handle:

o Client-facing responsibilities

• Documentation and project paperwork
• QA/QC with heavy emphasis on FAA compliance
• Work within active airport environments

Project Details

· Example work:

o City of Albuquerque airport renovations (up to ~$7M)

• System upgrades, baggage claim improvements, airport revitalization

Logistics

· Travel:

o Minimal (occasional trips to Santa Fe or South Valley)

• Must be willing to commute locally
• Interview process:

Preferences (Not Required)

· PMP or PE certification (nice to have)

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
