Role Summary
The Aviation Claims Manager leads the end-to-end aviation claims function within a delegated authority MGA framework, ensuring claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements and insurer partner expectations. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical expertise, including direct adjustment of select claims and active management of complex or high-severity losses.
In addition to direct claims handling, the role is responsible for managing and coordinating a network of third-party vendors and partners, including loss adjusters, TPAs, aviation experts, legal counsel, and salvage providers. The Claims Manager establishes service standards, monitors performance, and ensures vendors operate in alignment with coverage intent, cost containment objectives, and customer outcomes.
Role Accountabilities- Lead day-to-day aviation claims operations and ensure adherence to SLAs.

Serve as primary liaison with capacity providers, TPAs, adjusters, attorneys, and vendors.

Oversee complex and high-value aviation claims across product lines.

Ensure claims handling complies with delegated authority and regulatory requirements.

Monitor claims trends, fraud indicators, and loss ratios; provide insights to underwriting.

Manage complaints and ensure regulatory response timelines are met.

Produce management information reports covering reserves, trends, and KPIs.

Identify cost control and process improvement opportunities.

Support audits, bordereaux reporting, and insurer reviews.

Contribute to system enhancements and technology integrations that improve claims workflow
Role Requirements- Bachelor’s degree required.

Active U.S. P&C Adjuster License.

Extensive aviation claims management experience within MGA, carrier, or TPA environments.
